For then it became true
That Father’s Day meant you.
In 1993 there was now a he and she
And Farthers’Day for you
Was multiplied by two.
And if it had been four
I could have written more,
But that is irrelevant
In this month past May
For what I meant to say
Was happy Father’s Day.
